Professional Development Research and Practice

The publications and other products listed in this section of Returns on Investments focused on the characteristics of effective preservice and inservice professional development, including different types of technical assistance and training practices, and factors associated with the use of evidence-based and recommended professional development practices. The research and practice was funded, in part, by federal, state, and private sources of funding awarded to the Puckett Institute and through subcontracts to the Puckett Institute from the University of Connecticut Health Center, Farmington, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
